Hey fabulous community,
Time to peel back the curtain and get real with you all! While I’m in full doula mode during those magical births, supporting moms and their partners, let me take you behind the scenes where life is just as real, a tad messy, and wonderfully wild.
Meet my squad: my three lively, independent daughters, ages 1 to 8. They’re a handful, but they’re also the heartbeat of my world. This year, I’m dialing it down a notch, soaking in every chaotic, beautiful moment because, let’s face it, time is on fast-forward, and my littlest one is officially transitioning into toddlerhood. The upcoming end of nursing has got me a bit sentimental, but such is the beauty of the journey. The days are long, but the years are short, baby.
Now, on the home front, we’re on the house-hunting adventure in Munich. Finding a bigger space with a garden? Not exactly a stroll in the park, but we’re up for the challenge.
And here’s a shoutout to the unsung hero—my husband who picks up the pieces when I am on call or off to a birth. The relationship with our coparent is the backbone of our family’s wellbeing, often overlooked in the hustle of everyday life. That’s why I’m making it a mission to put some serious intention into ‘us’ this year. We’re so much more than parents; we’re partners navigating this crazy ride together. And there is no one I would rather do it with.
In spilling the beans about my personal life, I’m hoping you see that beyond the doula hustle, I’m just a regular person juggling dreams, struggles, and a whole lot of love. Here’s to the beautiful chaos of life!
